I will therefore present here in chronological order my research for our last destination, Dubai

So I started my research at the beginning of the year for a stay before the hot weather in Dubai (June to September)

​

TRANSPORT: Airplane 

​

For plane tickets it is necessary to do it as soon as possible to benefit from the best rates, between 3 months and the date of departure the prices of the tickets will constantly evolve on the rise and I have made the bitter experience of it .

​

Our departure will be from Nantes (airport code: NTE) and my research is done on several websites such as Skyscanner, Kayak. Preferably at night and on weekdays because site traffic is much lower in these time slots and the rates charged will be lower.

​

Price of a Nantes (NTE) Dubai (DXB) ticket for a departure in May, on a Monday, round trip: best price 304 euros

per person.

I had the bad idea to wait a bit too long, thinking I could get better and I finally booked my tickets after 15 days of checking the prices and I finally lost 15 days and 38 euros per ticket.

Final price of the ticket without insurance: 342.50 euros

Please note: Always prefer to book via the airlines directly. Best rate and in case of complication the terms of cancellations are often simpler. In our case it was Swiss Air with a stopover in Zurich.

In this regard, note that flights with stopovers are often cheaper than direct flights.
