Come on, I'm launching into a presentation of the trip that probably impressed me the most Dubai is in a few figures: - just over 3 million inhabitants, of which only 20% are Emiratis - it is a city that stretches about 70 km long from north to south - It's the city of records - Highest tower in the world, Burj Khalifa 828 meters - Self-proclaimed most luxurious hotel in the world, Burj El Arab******* - Deepest pool in the world, Deep Dive Dubai, 60.2 meters, 14,000 m3 - The highest swimming pool in the world Aura Skypool located 200 m on a hotel - The tallest ferris wheel in the world, Al Ain 210 meters - Highest hotel in the world: GEVORA hotel, 356 meters (beaten since June 19, 2022 by the J hotel of shangai 632 meters) - The largest shopping center in the world, the Dubai Mall

What particularly impressed me are the infrastructure and the quality of the roads in Dubai. It's completely insane. Paris is a provincial town nearby. I counted up to 2 x 13 lanes, most highways are between 4 and 6 lanes on each side, often 2 x 8. And the quality is simply stunning, a real rug. It's simple, I'm not exaggerating, when we got back to Nantes, taking the ring road, I said to myself "what is this third world country?" the roads here are so disgusting.
The city is huge and it takes you about 3/4 hours to go from north to south of the city using these highways. The second thing, it's even the first to tell the truth, it's the heat!!! We went out in the evening around 8 p.m. (it was already dark) and it was 35 degrees!!! The 3rd thing is safety both in town, on foot, and on the road. Besides, the voices of traffic are enormous and on the highways it is impossible to overspeed, a radar every 1 or 2 km, and I repeat, an exceptional quality of coating. On foot the same feeling, at no time did we have any feeling of insecurity, even at night. It's very soothing.
