The Dordogne

This year, following small health concerns, the holidays were limited to a few days as a couple and in the Dordogne. After some research, for once not too much, I ended up coming across a pretty cool ad in theory. Beautiful cottage with private pool. Contact made with the owner, a deposit check sent, the cottage is reserved. This is a cottage in the basement (it cooled me down quite a bit at first). A functional and well-equipped kitchen (coffee machine, fridge, microwave oven, toaster...). A bathroom with a slightly raised shower, quite spacious, a simple washbasin, a toilet (sanibroyeur) and storage.... A bedroom with a window and a mosquito net, the bed a little used (tired a little in the middle) and storage. A lounge area with 2 sofas (one of which can be used as an additional bed), a TV and a coffee table; The decor is "nice". The whole cottage is clean and quite cool (without air conditioning) even in the middle of summer. It overlooks a private car park where you can of course park your car there and also take your meals there because a table and 4 chairs are at your disposal. It is a cottage that can accommodate up to 4 people.

Outside, the owner gives you access to his swimming pool (4 x 9 m, 1.60 m deep, 26 degrees). this space is decorated with a solarium with sunbeds. You can also take advantage of the outdoor kitchen (table, chairs, oven, fridge and sink). The whole is well maintained and very pleasant when it is sunny.

The cottage is located about 20 minutes from very tourist sites such as: Bénac and Cazenac, La Roque Cajac, Sarlat la caneda, further Périgueux, Bergerac and Brantome... It is a cottage of the same quality or almost as the 2 others already found (Gard and Alsace) (Address available in pm)
