I present here a non-exhaustive list of possible activities in Dubai There is an impressive amount of it. After several weeks of research on different sites and support I have selected ten. Impossible to do everything anyway in a few days so inevitably we will stay on our end, probably a pretext for organizing a second stay, why not?!

Dubai Frame, Height 150 meters, width 93 meters,

Dubai Frame is a frame-shaped tower that symbolizes the transition from the old city to the new. You therefore arrive at a paying car park (approximately 3 euros) where you will have the opportunity to park in the shade with a little luck; The queue is reasonable (about twenty minutes, much less if you have taken care to buy tickets online). Once at the checkout, you head towards this monumental, gold-colored setting and again have a good 1/4 hour wait before entering the building. Like any self-respecting attraction, you pass in front of the photographer and a green background. Then, after a brief presentation of life in the United Arab Emirates retracing several decades, you finally arrive at the elevators...;

So you get on board for a 30 to 40 second ascent,

The very first view, vertiginous, Dubai Frame

with a view to the outside, up to the final viewpoint, 150 meters above the ground (approximately 50 floors). The elevator opens onto a large room 10 meters wide and around 70 long.

Old town side view, Dubai Frame

Lots of people on the day of our visit and stormy weather with poor visibility, too bad. Although the view on the outside and on both sides of the city gives you an idea of its immensity, the main attraction is ultimately under your feet!!! And yes, the engineers had the good idea to install 3 glass trays of 10 m on 2 surroundings each offering you the same dizzying view of the base of the building where you were waiting a few minutes before. So you walk naturally, or not, with 150 meters of vacuum under your feet!! Wow!!! IMPRESSIVE Vertigo enthusiasts will get their money's worth. After a big 1/4 hour taking pictures and walking, braving the void, you will of course end up going down the other side. A film will be screened on various futuristic projects, and yes you have gone up on the "past" side and come down on the "future" side (like at Disney with Liberty arcade and Discovery arcade, those who know the park will know what I'm talking about, a nod to the Disneyfriends). Of course we won't forget to take you through the shop and offer you the famous photo taken at the entrance (special mention to the saleswomen who have a lynx eye and spotted you with your photo a few seconds after you entered the shop) . Well finally we won't take the picture, we're not all "Americans"!!! There are, however, some interesting products for those who want to have fun. Duration of the visit approximately 1 hour. It depends on how long you spend up there, you stay there as long as you want, no pressure.. The visit costs around 14 euros / person (it depends on the exchange rate) 50 aed / person, parking 10 aed (Emirati dirham) My point of view: To do. Not very long, the wait is worth the experience of emptiness). Reasonable cost

Things to remember for your activities

Transaction costs can be significant when you are abroad too, after having tested the 2 means of payment by card it is preferable, in Dubai, to pay in local currency AED (even if transaction costs will be involved, the overall cost will be lower than a direct payment in euros (often proposed)

A prior order of your activities on the internet before departure (jet ski, evening in the desert, buggy or quad, museum or monument visit....etc...) is not necessarily less expensive than the purchase on the spot but it has 2 advantages: - often avoid queues - you have insurance via the site (when booking) or payment (if you go through paypal (total or partial refund, after verification) if your service has been canceled or amputated (this was our case for the buggy, no carried out)

You can also benefit from a "cashback" on your services through sites like octopus (sponsorship offer possible, contact me). Thus, once the service has been paid for and made, a discount of a few cents or a few euros is returned to you.

code : https://www.poulpeo.com/p/W0xcab (5 euros pour vous de cashback)

A presentation of the passport is almost systematic for your activities (if a problem of deterioration of equipment, behavior or even a violation of the rules would see you confiscating your passport until the settlement of the "dispute"
